While reporting on human trafficking in Lima, Peru, my friend Sarah and I search for a source in the sex trade. We ask locals to draw us maps to the prostitutes. There were three maps. We followed one.
On any given night there's an estimated 2,000 homeless youth on Chicagoland streets. Chicago offers youth a variety of services including food, bedding, showers and support groups, but there's not enough to accommodate the demand. And many youth have a difficult time adjusting to the responsibilities of this coming of age.
